Irregular timber framing with massive arch braces;
steeply pitched clay tile roof; brick stacks. 2 bays
of a former hall house now with first floor inserted; an
additional timber framed bay of c1600 at north end and an
early C18 brick bay at south end, a C17 timber framed
bay at the rear. 2 storeys; 4 windows; glazing bar
casements. Interior: C17 staircase with turned balusters;
moulded crown post roof. V.C.H. Staffordshire, Vol.V,1959.
