flanking piers and gates.

House. Early to mid C18. Red brick with painted ashlar
dressings and framed by large corner piers with full
entablature. Hipped clay tile roof. Provincial Baroque
style. 2 storeys; moulded entablature and moulded plinth;
3 windows; plate glass sashes with triangular pediments
and raised surrounds; the central window on the first floor
has a Gibbsian surround; central 4 panelled door, the 2
upper panels glazed, flanked by engaged Tuscan half-columns
and surmounted by triangular pediment. Wrought iron
railings on dwarf wall enclosing a small forecourt; end piers
with modillioned capping, central gates with finials to gate
posts.
