GV II
Row of 3 cottages. Probably C19, but may incorporate earlier work. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings;
triple-roll clay tiles between high coped gables suggesting former thatch; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 6 bays.
Hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in wave-mould recesses, of 3, 2, 2, 3, 3, and 3 lights above, 4-light to lower bays 1,
4, 5 and 6, and 2-light to right of lower bay 3; cambered arched doorways in wave-mould recesses under deep lintels to
bays 2, 3 left and between bays 5/6; all ground floor openings having separate labels except the bay 2 and 3 doorways,
which have a joint lintel: straight joint between bays 4 and 5, bays 5 and 6 apparently later work. C20 casement window
in south gable; various horizontal-bar and other casement windows to rear; two single-storey scullery wings attached to
rear. Interiors not seen.
