House. Early C19. Render and roughcast on brick; tiled roof parapeted
to front only; centre stacks. Entrance front: a facade built up
onto a lower building. Three storeys with a heavy cornice to the
parapet and quoins; three windows all with rendered surrounds. Square,
glazing bar sashes to top floor, the first floor with small pane casements
set back in elliptically-headed panels with quoin surrounds and ground
floor with two flat-roofed semicircular bays with double fluted pilasters
flanking tripartite sashes. Central entrance with small porch on
columns with frieze and cornice, part-glazed door. The lower side
elevation is ramped at parapet level up to the facade to the right;
two glazing bar sashes to the left. An ambitious frontage set prominently
in the entrance to the village.
