House of mid C19 appearance but could be older. Red brick in Flemish bond with
blue headers. Gauged near-flat brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars.
2 storeys, 3 windows. Fairly high pitched slated roof with end chimneys. 6-panel
door with low, oblong fanlight in surround of narrow pilasters and bracketed cornice
hood. Included for group value.
Nos 23 to 31 (odd), Red Cottage and the Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough to east of
Nos 27 and 29 form a group.
