C18 farmhouse with early-mid C19 additions. 2 storeys, 3 windows, with a small
pentice at left and a one-storey and attic north extension with dormer. Tiled
roofs, the main block hipped. Brick dentil eaves cornices. Red brick, the extension
diapered with blue headers. Sash windows with glazing bars or margin lights,
ground floor left under gauged brick arch. Two mid C19 canted bays, one in right
part. 6-panel door under gabled hood.
Nos 23 to 31 (odd), Red Cottage and the Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough to east of
Nos 27 and 29 form a group.
