House. Late C18 with mid-C19 alterations and later additions. Red
brick; hipped slate roofs; brick stacks. Main range aligned north-
south facing west, extensions to rear. 3 storeys, reduced proportions
to second floor; 4 bays, glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads,
the ground floor window openings have been widened to accommodate mid-
C19 glazing bar sashes. Half glazed door to right of centre flanked
by side-lights; Tuscan porch. Alterations were being undertaken at
time of resurvey (January 1986).
