Farmhouse. Dated 1585 with C19 alterations. Coursed squared stone, ashlar
dressings, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Deep plinth with chamfered
coping. Central 4-panel door in doorcase with original chamfering to jambs,
impost bands and above a C19 round arch with stone voussoirs. All windows
have C20 casements, all set in original (formerly mullioned and transomed)
chamfered surrounds. End stacks with moulded cornices. South gable has
2-light mullion casement window and a blocked similar window. To other
gable a blocked doorway bearing date but very worn. History: once a larger
house, built for the Lascelles family before they moved to Harewood.
