Winton House
II
Farmhouse. Late C18 and early C19. Red brick, rubblestone, Welsh slate
roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. 3 central bays with flanking single-bay wings.
Outer bays lower at eaves level. Right-hand bay of rubblestone. To left-
hand central bay a 6-panel door and overlight with ornamental glazing bars
in Doric surround of pilasters, frieze and cornice. To its right between
the central and right-hand central bay is a large 16-pane sash. Other
windows are smaller 16-pane sashes; all have stone sills and flat brick
arches. Shaped kneelers, stone coping at each end and to outside of central
3 bays. End stacks.
