House, probably circa 1700. Unevenly-coursed, differently tooled
sandstone; pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings, kneelers
and stacks. 1½ storeys, 3 wide bays. Hearth-passage plan.
Flattened Tudor-arched lintel to ledged and boarded passage door
in left bay. Ground floor 4-light modern casements under extended
keyed lintels.Window left of door has lintel dated 1665 with initials
WT at left, probably relocated. First floor modern casements under
C19 gabled half dormers with bargeboards and spike finials.
1-storey left extension at right-angles has hip-ended roof with
diagonal kneelers.
Entrance front 5 bays with plain boarded passage door and 2 Yorkshire
sashes and a casement on ground floor. 4 pivoted windows under
similar dormers above.
Interior: original panelled cupboard in forehouse.
