House, now two dwellings, the left wing being Red Hall Cottage. Early-
mid C18. Dark red brick in indeterminate bond, mostly stretchers,
with stone dressings; wings roughcast. Dark pantiled roofs with stone
copings and kneelers, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays with lower
2-storey 2-bay wings. Chamfered stone plinth and alternating-block
quoins. Door of 8 fielded panels under a segment-headed lintel.
12-pane sashes in wood box frames in main house, under stone wedge
lintels with big keystones. One-,two- and three-light Yorkshire
sashes in wings, some replaced. Deep moulded and dentilled wood eaves
cornice to main house. Rear elevation shows stone-framed Venetian
stair window, probably an insertion.
Interior: some early 3-panel doors.
