Late C18 or early C19. Local brick in Flemish bond. Replaced pantiled roof with
brick chimney at left.
Double house central-passage plan. No 17: two storeys, two windows. Gauged flat
brick arches to modern pivoted windows on first floor; stone cills. Ground floor
reproduction double shop front with glazing bars and six-panel door in centre.
Boarded passage door at right.
No 19: rendered with pantiled roof, left brick chimney, one window wide. Later C19
canted bay above modern shop front. Included mainly because integral with No 17.
