and South of Manor

C18. To north of house a red brick wall in English garden wall bond, with buttresses
and flat stone coping, curved at west end. To east and north coursed dressed stone
walls with gabled coping. At south-east corner a pair of stout square gate piers with
vermiculate rusticated lower courses, wide guilloche moulded band and upper stage,
with drapery swags, corniced and pedimented. These piers were brought here from
Angrove Hall, demolished 1832.
