10/161 The Old Dairy

Former domestic quarters of Busby Hall, adjoining north end of The
Old Nursery wing. 2 builds. Main 2-storey part at right C18,
possibly with older core; 1-storey left part mid C18. Herringbone-
tooled sandstone; grey pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings and
stacks.
2-storey, 4-bay right part: Plinth. Replaced 6-panel door with low
overlight in third bay. To right 2 low 6-pane windows, one fixed,
the other a sash. Other windows are 12-pane sashes with slightly-
projecting cills. Left end chimney and 2 more on ridge. Left
1-storey part 2 builds, 1 and 2 bays, stepped down the hill. Plinth.
4-panel door with tall overlight; 12-pane sash at left. Hip-ended
roof.
