House now two, one (Park House) with flat. Probably mid-late C18, of two
builds. Red brick in English garden wall bond, pantile roof. 2½ storeys; 2:4
bays, the 2 left bays later; 2-storey 3-bay range to rear of Park House (on
right). 1st and 2nd-floor bands, of 2 courses to Park House, 1 course to Mill
House. Openings have flat brick arches. Doorway to Mill House is in C20 pent
porch on right in 2nd bay; C20 door to Park House (flat) in 4th bay from left in
former door opening. Windows on the 2 lower floors are 6-pane sashes with flush
wood architraves and projecting stone cills; inserted in centre of 1st floor of
Mill House is a C20 window. Top storey of Mill House is blind; Park House has
two 3-pane casements flanking a short blind window with right-hand bay blind.
Two tie-rod ends on 2nd floor of Mill House. Stepped dentilled eaves; shaped
stone kneelers; ashlar coping. Brick end stacks and 2 ridge stacks, the 2
left-hand stacks rebuilt, the 2 right-hand stacks stone-coped. Right return: a
blocked lst-floor window and traces of a gable opening; rear range is set back
and has door to Park House masked by C20 conservatory (not of special interest).
