Pair of cottages, now one dwelling. C17 and C18. Uncoursed squared limestone and
ironstone, and uncoursed rubble. Left cottage has thatched roof; right cottage
has artificial stone slate roof. Brick stacks. Left cottage, C17, of three bays
and 2 storeys has C20 conservatory across 2 left bays forming porch. C20 doorway
in second bay from left with C20 window in left bay and original window in right
bay with 3-light iron casement and wood lintel. First-floor windows have C20
wood casements. Low one-storey projection to left with roof of main block
continued with wood lintel. 6-panel door and C20 lean-to porch, flanked by
windows with wood lintels and 3-light iron casements. Similar windows first
floor. Interior: Two blades of raised cruck exposed in C17 cottage.
