House. Late C17. Remodelled C20. Squared coursed limestone, slate roof, flanking
brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays. C20 extension across right bay, one
storey, has entrance in left side with wood lintel and plank door. 2-light stone
mullioned window with square hood to left. Two 2-light stone mullioned windows
on first floor. C20 timber dormers. On right side are 3 small one-light windows
to fround floor. Similar window left bay first floor in attic. Main entrance was
originally at rear. Interior: Inglenook fireplace with 3 small windows and bread
oven. Stop chamfered beams. Staircase C20. Described by Wood-Jones as Pear Tree
Cottage.
