No 10 was formerly part of No 6.
Early C18 house considerably altered in early C19 when its neighbours seem to
have been built. 3 storeys, 2 windows. Multicoloured stock brick with parapet.
Irregular shape. An extra storey has been added above the right bay but this
is now part of No 9. Left part of ground floor stuccoed. Cambered arches to
restored sash windows with glazing bars in original near-flush moulded frames.
Plain reveal to door of 4 panels, the upper 2 glazed. Fire assurance sign at
1st floor left.
All the listed buildings on Ballast Quay and No 18, form a group.
