House, now offices. c1797, with C19 alterations. Brick with
painted ashlar dressings and slate mansard roof with a gable
stack. Plinth, ground floor and first-floor sill bands,
slab-coped parapet. Windows have brick flat arches. 3 storeys
plus basement and attics; 3-window range of 15-pane sashes and
above, three 9-pane sashes. Above again, a square dormer with
a 3-light glazing bar Yorkshire sash. Ground floor has to left
a wooden doorcase with Doric 3/4 columns and dentillated
cornice and pediment. Round arched doorway with steps to
fielded 6-panel door with blank fanlight. To right, two
12-pane sashes. Below, 2 fielded 6-panel double doors
alternating with moulded stucco panels.
