Barn and shippon. Probably late C18; altered. Coursed squared
sandstone rubble, stone slate roof. Probably 3+2 bays, on
east-west axis facing south, with the former shippon in the
first bay, an outshut in front of this, and broader east end
(projecting to front and rear). The 2nd bay has a waggon porch
in the angle with the outshut to the 1st bay, both under a
carried-down roof. The projected east end has a central
doorway with plain surround and two 12-pane fixed windows
above. The east gable wall has a window and doorway at ground
floor and a loading door above; the west gable wall has 3
former shippon doorways altered as windows; and the rear is
generally similar to the front. Forms group with Sutches
Farmhouse (qv), stable or granary on east side of farmyard
(qv) and cart shed/stable on west side of yard (qv).
