GV II

House. Late C18 with C19 additions. Painted brick; slate roof;
brick cross axial ridge and end stacks. Central staircase
plan. 2-storeys, attic and cellar; 7-window range: 2/2 sashes
(2 late C19) in broad beaded cases under gauged brick flat
arches; C20 soffit to eaves; three probably C19 dormers with
casements. Central oak door with 6 fielded panels, and
overlight, in panelled case with rounded head, under open
pediment, moulded hood with fluted frieze on moulded
pilasters; flanked by 2/2 sashes in broad moulded cases under
gauged brick flat arches. C19, 2-storey brick wing to left,
with late C19, 2/2 sash under gauged brick flat arch, over
6-panel door and fanlight under gauged brick semi-circular
arch with stone springers and keystone. Further C19 gabled
wing with 2 late C19, 2/2 sashes under grooved brick lintels.
INTERIOR: C18 staircase, panelling, doors and architraves.
