Cottages. Later C18. Painted brick; Welsh slate roof; brick
stack to rear. L-shaped, 4-unit plan. 2-storeys, attic and
probable cellar; 4-window range: to right, C20 casement with
recessed panel over; to left, casement, sliding sash, and
further early C20 casement, in early C20 brickwork; various
detailing to eaves; 2-light gable dormer to right. Ground
floor: protruding central bay has 4-panel door in stop
chamfered case and, to left, 4/4 sash, under segmental arch;
plank door to alley under stone hood on rounded pilasters.
Left bay has 4-panel door under rendered lintel and to right,
late C19, 2/2 sash under rendered lintel, both in altered
openings. Brand Lane: brick (some early C20); vertical
weatherboarding; plain tile roof; brick stacks. 2-storeys and
attic; one early C20 casement under segmental arch with brick
sill; 2 casements over. C20 door with, to left, in C18
brickwork, 4/4 sash under shouldered arch. Wing (No.20) has
plank door with C18 sash to right, in much patched brickwork,
with beaded softwood boarding over, having 9/9 sliding sash.
