Farmhouse now in 2 ownerships. Early C18, refronted late C18.
Built of red brick on stone base with hipped slate roof and 2
brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys 4 windows. Front elevation of
English bond and has C20 casements, mainly in old surrounds
and C19 trelliswork porch with slate roof and fretted
bargeboards. Rear elevation has diaper patterned brickwork. 4
sashes to 1st floor and two 3-light early C19 canted bays to
ground floor. No 2 has ground floor very wide stone fireplace
and massive spine beam with chamfers of at least 2 niches and
run out stop. 1st floor has lambs tongue stops to spine beam,
2 panelled door, old floorboards and a section of square
framing, at least six inches thick. Probably C18 winder
staircase.
