Farmhouse. Dated 1693 in east gable; altered. Coursed
sandstone rubble painted white, composition tile roof. T-plan
formed by 2-unit main range with rear wing. Two low storeys
and 2 windows, almost symmetrical; with a small gabled porch
in the centre (added, and of brick painted white) and oblong
windows on both floors, all boarded at time of inspection
except that to the right at 1st floor which is a 3-light
casement. Gable chimneys. Now has a brick buttress to the left
corner, and a steel tie-rod wrapped round at 1st floor. The
right-hand gable has one window on each floor, the lower now
covered by metal shutters and the upper altered, and a
recessed datestone inscribed "1693". Short rear wing with
lean-to porch in angle and no other openings.
