Ha-ha bounding east and south sides
of garden of former Lathom House

GV II

Ha-ha. Probably early to mid C18; perhaps reduced at west end.
Coursed sandstone rubble. It runs eastwards from a point
approximately in line with the north-south axis of the former
Lathom House, almost straight for approx. 100m and then
curving northwards for slightly more than a quarter of a
circle, terminating to the north of the east-west axis of the
house; and is generally approx. 2m deep.
