2 houses under a continuous roof. Late C18 with earlier core.
Red brick and slate roof. 2 storeys and dormer attic No.3 is
the larger, 5-bay, north element. Panelled door to right under
overlight with decorative glazing. Plain pilaster doorcase. To
its left are 3 sashes with glazing bars and gauged skewback
arches and one blind window. First floor lit through 5 sashes
with similar details but with exposed boxes, suggesting c1735,
although the glazing is late C18. Moulded timber eaves cornice
to both houses. Gabled roof with 2 gabled dormers over No.3
and a third to No.3A: sashes with glazing bars, that to No.3A
replaced in late C20. No.3A in 3 bays entered through a late
C20 door to the right. 2 plate-glass sashes to ground floor
and 3 first floor windows similar to No.3. One stack visible
to No.3 to north, on rear roof slope.
