Town house at end of row, now 3 houses. c1830 for Dr. Fry. Bath
limestone ashlar; coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys;
replacement tile roof. Two-storey; linking section to row;
irregular to side and rear with long 2-storey rear wing. Front
(west): fenestration 1:1:1 with central break forward. Tripartite
sashes within segmental-arched recessed to ground floor, each with
central 12-pane and flanking 4-pane sashes and sunblind valancing;
9-pane sash within central recess is possibly door and has panelled
architrave with moulded cornice. Twelve-pane upper floor sashes.
Moulded eaves cornice and plain blocking course. Altered
fenestration in recessed link to right: C20 casement with 16-pane
upper floor sash. North: irregular with doorway to right having
entablature supported on attached Tuscan columns; 6-panel glazed
door. Sashes over and to right are 12-pane; eaves-mounted chimney
centrally over doorway. Elevation projects to left with plain band
at upper floor level and projecting chimney stack. Rear: large
rectangular single-storey stone panelled bay window with iron
railings to balcony; upper floor tripartite sash gives access to
balcony. Long wing has 16-pane sashes with plain architraves. All
roofs hipped and low-pitched. Interior not inspected, but panelled
shutters visible to principal sashes. Prominent corner position.
