Pair of houses. c1840, altered C20. Sandstone ashlar and slate
roofs. 3 storeys over a cellar. Each house has 2 widely-spaced
bays with a central doorway. All the windows have plain
reveals and recent 12-pane sashes. The doorways have deep
plain reveals, a simple cornice, and doors with 6 raised and
fielded panels. The chamfered quoins to the right are part of
a neighbouring block built in 1983.
