House. Earlier C16, altered early C19. Timber frame, originally
part of an inn, the coach entrance with exposed joists at the S
end. Roughcast with old tile roof. 2 storeys. Door towards N
has reeding and paterae surround and flat bracketed hood, flanked
N and S by 8/8 sash windows. 1st floor has 3 casements and one
horizontal sash, all 6 plus 6 panes. Wooden band between floors.
Rear staircase with C17 newel post. Regency cast iron door
knocker with lion head and banded wreath.
