22.2.67 Woodham House Cottage)

Courthouse, now a house. Probably C16 origin, greatly altered
and refaced in late C19 Tudor style. Red brick, 3 windows, N one
painted (part of Woodham House). Old tile roof with slightly
projecting gable end on south and 2 gabled dormers, all with
bargeboards matching those of Woodham House. Central, 6-panel
door beneath 3-light fan and stepped hood mould. Flanking,
Ground floor, mullioned and transomed windows with small pane
casements, moulded stone sills and chamfered wooden lintels.
Formerly the Court House attached to Sheriff's house.
