SU 57 NE BASILDON UPPER BASILDON

1/12 Froomes House

G.V. II

House. Mid to late C17, mid C19 refacing and gabled wing off-centre to
right. C20 addition to right. Timber framed with angle bracing and white
painted brick nogging to rear, white painted brick addition and white
painted brick facing to front. Dentil brick eaves cornice to old tile
roof with end stacks. 3 framed bays to left. 2 storeys. 3 first floor
2-light C20 casements, 2 ground floor C19 sashes with segmental heads to
left, and large 3-light late C20 casement to right. Segmental headed
4-Panelled door off-centre to left between second and third windows from
left with gabled brick and timber porch. Wing to right has first floor
sash, and ground floor C20 door.
