SK 80 SE MANTON CHURCH LANE (East end)

GV II


House, largely early C18 but with later rear wing. Coursed rubble with stone
tiled roof. 2 storeys with attics. Main facade of 3 bays, with one canted
bay window to ground floor. Other openings are casements with timber lintels,
3 gabled dormers in roof.

Rear wing faces onto Church Lane, and contains the present entry to the building.
Coursed and squared rubble, 3 storeys and 2 bays with inner doorway in chamfered
stone 4-centred arch and left of it a full height canted bay window with
stone mullions and gable corbelled out above.
