9/68 The Cheese House at

Cheese House. C17. Lias stone walls with large quoins to street. Thatch roof
with one gable end intact. Gable end to street has been dismantled as unsafe.
l½ storeys. c.3 windows. Window-openings with plank shutters, or C20
insertions. Doorway on east wall, with loft door immediately over, plank.
Thatch swept over as eyebrows. The south end of the Cheese House is in a
ruinous condition.
