Originally 10, now 5 almshouses. C15 founded by Ralph Cromwell,
remodelled C17, altered C19 and C20. Red brick, with ashlar in
part to gable ends, and plinth, pantile roof having raised brick
coped gables, 2 gable and 4 axial red brick stacks. Single
storey, 21 bay front having 5 planked doors, and 16 C20 2 light
windows, 6 in the blocking of earlier doors. All doors and 11
windows have segmental brick heads, the others have flat heads.
