Moat walls. c.1440, restored early C20. Red brick, in English
bond, slightly battered, brick coped walls to the exterior of the
polygonal moat. Near the bridge is a segmental headed opening to
flight of steps to ground level. The wall remains around the
entire circumference. Scheduled Ancient Monument No. 2.
