House. 1730s. Painted brick with stone dressings, dressed
stone returns and rear; stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays.
Moulded base and rusticated quoins. Windows have rusticated
cambered arches and are sashed with glazing bars. Entrance
has rusticated jambs and wedge lintel, with key; 6-panel
door. Gable-end stacks. Returns and rear have horizontally
sliding sashes with glazing bars. Rear stair window with 2
transoms. Interior has 6-panel doors with strap hinges;
attic has 4-fielded-panel doors with H-L hinges. Stair has
cut string, turned balusters and ramped handrail; paired
newels.
