Forge, now disused. Late C18/early C19 incorporating medieval masonry. Squared
coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. U-shape plan. Single storey.
Centre is one-window range with casement opening, having a wooden shutter, under
wood lintel. Gabled roof with reset medieval octagonal chimney stack on square
base at end. Stack has alternate gabled openings of one or 2 lights with
spirelet above, having 4 small gabled openings and crocketted finial. C20 brick
stack at other end. Bay to left breaks forward with a half-hipped roof. Cart
entrance in return wall. Bay to right breaks forward with a hipped roof. Plank
door in left is under a wood lintel. Interior not inspected.
