11/127 Spring Farmhouse

Farmhouse now house. Probably C17 origins early C18 and C19. Squared coursed
limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys with
attic and cellar. 4-window range of one- and 2-light casements with glazing
bars, under wood lintels. Central C20 door, also under wood lintel, has flight
of steps. 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window, to cellar, to far right.
Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge and end. Right gable has 2 stone
mullion cellar windows, similar to front elevation. Interior: kitchen has
remains of open fireplace, with bressumer, and stop-chamfered spine beams. Room
to far right, over cellar, is at a higher level. Some C18 plank and panelled
floors.
