Probably hermitage now house. Probably C14 altered and extended C17 and C18.
Squared coursed limestone and lias with thatch roof. Original plan indeterminate,
used as 2-single unit houses until C20. 2 storeys. 4-window range of C19 casement
windows under wood lintels. Central C20 door, also under wood lintel, with C20
porch. 2 bays to left are squared coursed lias and 2 bays to right are
limestone. Right hand corner is lias with C14 chamfered plinth. Brick stacks at
ends. Rear elevation, 2 bays to right break forward. Interior: wall to right of
entrance hall incorporates C14 double chamfered arch with polygonal responds.
The arch is now subdivided by the inserted first floor structure. Noted as
having remains of open fireplaces and 2 dogleg staircases.
