Barn. Late C17. Timber-framing with weatherboard cladding on
English garden wall bond brick plinth, corrugated asbestos roof,
formerly thatched. Five bays with wider centre bay, aisled. South
side has large hipped porch with blocked south doorway and inserted
double planked doors for garage on west side, lean-to extension
attached to east side. West gable has sliding planked doors.
North side has no porch. Brick lean-to shed attached to east
gable. Interior has collar and tie-beam trusses with curved
bracing from aisle posts to tie-beams and arcade plates. Some of
aisle bays retain boarded partitions; the north west bay said to
have been for the shire horse. Loft over porch.
