The Manse

Manse to Baptist Chapel (q.v.). Circa 1800. Rendered, Welsh slate
roof, gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-window. Central 6-
panelled door with flat stone hood on brackets, 20-pane sash either
side of central 12-pane sash. Right return has 20-pane sash. Rear
late C19 parallel range has 4-pane sashes. Interior not accessible
at time of survey (May 1986), but said to retain window shutters,
6-panelled doors and original stairs. Built by Thomas Parfet 1802-
03 at a cost of £433.18s., raised by subscription.
