Pair of cottages in row. Early C18. Rubble stone, pantiled roof
with brick stacks. Two-storey with attic, 5-window. Central
lobby entry. Entry to lobby in moulded stone architrave with
continuous moulded string course carried over in hoodmould, inner
door to No 232 is old 2-panelled, C20 door to No 233, 5-light cyma-
mullioned casement either side. First floor has two 2-light
mullioned casements either side of bull's eye over door. Two
raking attic dormers with 2-light casements. Rear and interiors
not accessible at time of survey (May 1987), but said to retain
open fireplaces and beams.
