House. C18 and early C19, with older rear; complex form. 2 storeys and
attics to front range. Mainly timber-framed and rendered, part white brick;
plaintiled gambrel roof with brick dentil cornices at sides, wooden modillion
cornice along the front. 5 window range: small-paned sashes in flush frames;
3 large flat-headed dormers; external slatted shutters to the ground-storey
windows on the south side of the central front door. To the north of the
door, an early C19 single-storey lean-to extension in white brick with slate
roof and sash windows. C18 door and doorcase with open pediment, panelled
pilasters and dentil ornament. A large 2-storey mid C19 porch has been built
out over the entrance door, with an open lower storey and a room above:
rendered, with shallow-Pitched slate roof and fluted bargeboards, and a single
small-paned sash window.
