House. C14/C15 with later alterations and C20 extension. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Right return external and rear of hall
external chimney stacks. 2 storey crosswings, that to left C20, one storey and
attic hall. The original right crosswing jettied at rear. 1:2:1 window range of
various C20 Tudor style leaded windows. C20 plank and muntin door with
sidelights. There is a carved wood bressumer to hall, said to have come from the
demolished Waldamur Building in Ipswich. Internal features include inserted
ceiling to 2 bay hall. One arched brace remains to tie beam which supports a
4-armed octagonal crown post with capital and base. Said to be a similar crown
post in crosswing roof. Braces to crosswing tie beam cut away. Arched halved
bracing to wall.
