The description should be amended to read:-
Barn, cattlesheds and cartlodges. Probably C17 and C18, of earlier
origin. The barn, timber framed and weatherboarded. Red brick plinth.
Red plain tiled main and gabled midstrey roofs. Red pantiled lean-to
cartlodge which is attached to west by a single storey red brick
cartlodge/cattleshed with red pantiled roof, 8:3 open bays face into
the farmyard. Attached to south east of the barn another single storey
red brick, red pantile roof faces west into-the farmyard with 5 open
bays and closed end bays, weatherboarded, with 3 stable doors. The
southern face of the farmyard is formed to the south by the wall
listed 3/79qv and to the west by the complex listed 3/81qv. Interior:
Large 9-bay barn, close- studding, midrail and straight tension
braces; jowled posts with brackets, replacing braces to tie- beam;
circa C18 roof with collars morticed to principals and staggered butt
purlins. The cattle sheds and cart lodges have clasped purlin roofs.
