House at right angles to road. Late C17-early C18. Flint with
brick dressings, thatched roof. Single storey and attics, 3 bays,
lobby entry plan. Central boarded door. Timber casement windows
and 2 flush dormers. Roof half hipped towards road. Cob lean-to
store on west gable and 2 storey 1 bay block to rear of chalkstone
or cob linking building with No 55 (q.v.).
Interior has chamfered spine beam and timber fire lintel.
