House. Probably late C17. Colourwashed rubble with timber lintels; thatched roof
and brick stacks. 4-unit plan. One storey plus attics. 4-window front has
central oak 2-panel door under C20 tiled canopy and small casements of one and 3
lights either side. Further plank door under tiled canopy to extreme left. Four
2-light half dormers. All windows have C20 frames and diamond-leaded lights.
Roof half hipped to left with 2 ridge stacks and further stack to right gable.
Part of right gable extended in light timber framing, probably C18; low tiled
buildings attached to right gable wall also have timber-framed gable. Straight
joint indicates slightly later date for right bay of main range. Interior: Large
open fireplace.
