Barn and coach house. Early C18. Limestone rubble and ashlar dressings; old
plain-tile roofs. 5-bay barn has central porch with weatherboarded gable and
subsidiary entrance in right return wall. L-shaped stables and coach house
range, built at rear of barn, has 3 elliptical-arched carriage entrances, now
blocked, and a fielded-panel door under a stone flat arch with keyblock. Roof
has 3 gabled dormers. Interior: Remains of stalls in stable. Interior of barn
not inspected. Rubble wall with brick coping runs from coach house to front of
Milton Lodge (q.v.) and includes vehicular and pedestrian gates, both with
ashlar piers with flat caps.
