Farmhouse. Dated on west gable end to left 'B/A/1773' and
restored and extended in 1923 by Paul Phipps ('W/D/P/1923' on west
gable end to right). Squared and coursed rubble with flush
rusticated dressed stone quoins, stone dressings to voussoirs and
gambrel stone slate roofs with central hipped valley; end stacks
with stone bases and brick caps. Rectangular plan with low west
1923 courtyard extensions in similar materials. Two-storey and
attic, 3-window south front. Windows to outer bays are
tripartite sashes, central upper 16-pane sash; 3 hipped dormers
with pedimented timber doorcase and 6-panel door with 2 top glazed
lights.
Interior: complete remodelling of the 1920s.
