Famhouse. C17. 2 storeys: basic 3-cell plan, now L-shaped form. Timber-
framed and plastered with plaintiled roofs: ornamental C19 ridge-tiles and
barge boards. Internal chimney-stack: 4 attached narrow hexagonal shafts with
corbelled-out heads on a base partly embedded into the slope of the roof, which
may have been raised. On west side, a single-storey canted bay window:
remaining windows small-paned sashes in flush frames. 3 pitched gablets with
ornamental barge-boards to upper storey. Central door with ornate late C19
timber porch in lattice-work. The long 2-storey rear range has a single-storey
pantiled extension along its east side.
